Welcome to the Haury Program Community Partner Directory. Here you will find programs and organizations which do work at the intersection of environment and social justice in the Southwest, with a focus that seeks to work with underserved populations. Most of these programs are based in Southern Arizona as the Haury Program, located in Tucson, starts to build a network of partners doing this important work; we do, however, include related programs outside of the Southwest. This directory is intended to be used to facilitate partnerships and collaborative programs and to potentially identify gaps in services.
Programs are searchable using Environmental and Social Justice topics. Please see page 6 of our Phase 1 Report to see the definitions of social categories. Social Justice topics are: Water, Food, Health, Income, Education, Resilience, Voice, Jobs, Social Equity, Gender Equality, and Energy. Environmental topics are: Climate Change, Land Use Change, Freshwater Use, Biodiversity Loss, Nitrogen and Phosphorus Cycles, Ozone Depletion, Atmospheric Aerosol Loading, Ocean Acidification, and Chemical Pollution. The directory also includes: type of organization, location of activities, and populations who are served by the program. You may do advanced searches and select multiple options using the search bar on the right hand side of the page.
The Haury Program collected initial information for this directory through an extensive web search, and information is provided from the program websites. We encourage programs to edit their directory listing to ensure the information is inclusive and continuously relevant. Please edit existing entries by using the form found at the bottom of each individual program’s page. To submit a program not yet in the directory, please use the link below.
