Flor is a senior program manager for the Sonora Environmental Research Institute, Inc. (SERI) where she has undertaken ever-greater responsibilities over the years. At SERI she manages the Rainwater Harvesting for Low-income Families with funding from Tucson Water, teaches rainwater harvesting and tree care workshops, designs rainwater harvesting systems with families, and coordinates installation and organizes staff and volunteers to install systems for low-income elderly. She oversees the rainwater harvesting loan program, through which SERI installed 113 systems last year.

Flor has a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Arizona. She also has an Urban Forestry Certificate from Tucson Botanical Gardens and training in the installation of passive rainwater harvesting systems.

In September 2018, the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce selected Flor as one of the 40 Under 40 honorees.

Flor served on the Rising Voices Board between 2017 and 2019.
