Program Coordinator

Hiram is the Program Coordinator for the Agnese Nelms Haury Program. Prior to joining the Haury Program in January 2018, he worked on projects focusing on environmental research, ecosystem conservation education, promotion of sustainable regional development, and implementation of environmental sanitation regulations within the coastal and marine region of the Upper Gulf of California, Mexico.

Hiram takes a multidisciplinary approach to meeting social and environmental challenges. He has collaborated on projects with educational institutions, non-profit organizations, and state government in Mexico. He is a Civil Engineer, with a Masters in Urban Planning from the National Autonomous University of Mexico and a Diploma in Environmental Management Policies from San Pablo University in Madrid.
