The Agnese Nelms Haury Program in Environment and Social Justice honored five outstanding senior faculty at the University of Arizona through its Distinguished Chair appointments. The five-year appointment aimed to celebrate each scholar's achievements in work related to environmental and social justice challenges in the Southwest and beyond. It carried a financial award of $80,000/year to encourage mentoring and new research in these areas.
