The Agnese Nelms Haury Program was established in 2014, and seeks to honor the life and work of Mrs. Agnese Nelms Haury. The Haury Program is funded by a bequest from Mrs. Haury's trust, and is overseen by a Donor Advised Fund Board.

We are now housed under the Arizona Institute for Resilience (AIR), where researchers, educators, problem-solvers, and innovators from diverse disciplines work together to develop innovative and practical solutions to the environmental and resilience challenges we face today.

University of Arizona Well Represented at the 30th Indian Nations and Tribes Legislative Day at Arizona State Capitol

The 30th Indian Nations and Tribes Legislative Day was held on January 15th in Phoenix at the Arizona State Capitol. The participation of the University of Arizona at this annual event is essential for ensuring that we, as a leading institution for research and learning, understand how to best serve our Tribal Communities. It also offers a valuable platform to share the various programs and initiatives available at the University.

Call for Applications now open for 2025 Resilience Graduate Research Awards, Deadline is April 30!

This awards program aims to support University of Arizona graduate students doing research relevant to Native American and Indigenous Resilience. Awards up to $20,000 each are available, the deadline to submit proposals is April 30th. Information session will be held on February 26th at Noon, which will be recorded and shared.
