On Monday, September 13, President Robbins announced the creation of the Indigenous Resilience Center at the University of Arizona. KOLD News reached out to Dr. Karletta Chief, Assistant Professor of Environmental Science, and professor Kathy Jacobs, Director of the Center for Climate Adaptation Science and Solutions at the Arizona Institutes for Resilience, to discuss the details.

The Indigenous Resilience Center is especially significant for Dr. Karletta Chief, who will be leading the efforts as the Director of the center, working directly with tribes.
