In order to bring to life our vision of a world where Indigenous resilience, sovereignty, and ways of knowing are respected and advanced to meet climate change challenges, though globally impactful University of Arizona collaborations in research, education and outreach, the Haury Program funds education, research, and outreach that promote Indigenous Resilience in ways that respect tribal knowledge and sovereignty (Tier One). In particular, we support projects and people who offer the most powerful, culturally appropriate, innovative, and effective means of addressing indigenous resilience with utmost respect for tribal sovereignty.
